What we collect

When you adopt a school: your name, email, school, how often you’ll pray, your connection to the school, and, if you give them, your mobile number and church. When you tap “I prayed today” on your own page, the date. When you send a story or a message: what you write and the details you add. When you sign up for updates: your email.

How we use it

To send your prayer folder and the reminders you chose, to let your district prayer leader welcome you and see who is praying, to answer your messages, and to share stories you gave us permission to share (with your role and school only, never your name or email). On the site, everyone else only sees how many people prayed for each school, never who.

Who sees it

The L.E.N.S. team and the prayer leader for your school’s district. We never sell your details. We use a few services to run the site: Railway (where the site and its database live), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages, if you choose them) and Stripe (gifts, on Stripe’s own page). They only use your details to provide that service.

Text messages

If you choose text reminders, we text you about once a day (or once a week if you pray weekly) to remind you to pray for your school, with a link to your page. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

Email reminders

Every reminder email has a link to stop them. You can also change or stop reminders on your own page at any time.
