Get Involved
There's a place for you.
Pray for a school, gather a group, lend a hand, or give. Every part helps cover Long Beach in prayer.
Pray
Become a Prayer Warrior
A prayer warrior adopts one Long Beach school and prays for it by name, every day or every week. If you're not ready to choose, start by praying for today's school with us.
As a prayer warrior, you:
- Pray for your school by name, daily or weekly.
- Get a prayer folder by email with what to pray for.
- Are welcomed by your district prayer leader.
- Can join prayer walks near your school.
Gather
Start a Prayer Group
Two or three people are enough. A small group, a Sunday school class, your family or a few neighbors can pray together for one school or a whole district.
Ideas to get started
- Choose a school, or the schools near your church.
- Pick a regular time: weekly works well for most groups.
- Use the prayer resources and the printable prayer card.
- Join your district's prayer walks together.
